Your Wildflower Upholsterer
I started upholstering in 2013 and finally started Wildflower Upholstery in 2015.  I've always loved browsing unique furniture (thrift stores and estate sales are wonderful places for me), any pieces that looked different from the mass produced furniture (think eccentric), and I would imagine how a seemingly out of place piece of furniture would look with another fabric, or different wood color, and ta-da, that love led me to upholstery.  My background in math (a long time ago for my undergraduate) lends itself to patterns, 3D visioning, and measuring.  Most of my earlier projects were my parents' random furniture that they collected and housed in their basement.  I also had a couple of my own collection from garage sales from years ago, believing that someday, I was going to re-do them.  But then friends started asking me to reupholster for them or make them a headboard or cushions.  Finally, I got inspired, took the plunge, and left my full time job to start Wildflower Upholstery.  I hope that I can help you with your project and help complete or create that space you've been dreaming of by reupholstering that piece that you love or making that bench cushion you've been wanting to put in.
